Who We Are

A Tanzanian NGO built on the belief that every person deserves a just and sustainable future

Sustainable Futures Tanzania (SFT) is a registered youth-led non-governmental organisation headquartered in Dodoma, Tanzania. Founded on the conviction that sustainable development begins at the community level, SFT delivers integrated programmes that address the root causes of inequality, poor health outcomes, and economic exclusion — with a particular focus on women, youth, and children.

Our model is participatory, community-centred, and rights-based. We believe in the power of local leadership — particularly youth leadership — to drive lasting change. Guided by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), SFT works across six interconnected programme areas, ensuring our interventions are holistic, evidence-informed, and responsive to community needs.
